Scotland Biking Tour, Kirroughtree.

The second day of biking took us to Kirroughtree. A new visitors centre is just being built and looks as though it will be great, not open the day we visited along with a few of the biking loops. We had a really good explore despite many of the diversion signs having fallen over in the wind, a good day with a mixture of Blue and Red loops.

The Gem stone by the Loch.
On the Trail but not sure which bit, again.

Scotland Biking Tour, Dalbeattie.

The first day of riding on our Scotland biking tour was to Dalbeattie, one of the 7 Stanes.

Claire happy to have found a Geo-cache.
 Chilling by the Loch.
Totem Pole in Dalbeattie Forest. The Totem Pole was carved out of a Douglas fir from the Doach Wood. Three First Nation Canadian Carvers and one Scottish Carver made with the help of locals.

Elins Fancy and Llyn Sarnau Mountain Biking.

The weekend just gone Sam came came to visit, best choice seemed to be Mountain Biking, so with Claire completing the team we got out for two days exploring. Saturday we rode Elins Fancy up near Llyn Elsi, Sunday we parked up by Llyn Sarnau and explored from there.

Christmas and New Year.

Back to work now after some great time off. Stayed with Claire's family for Christmas then back to Llanberis for New Year as we have had a walking group staying in the centre. Managed a little bit of Mountain biking and plenty of walks.

Pete and Claire wrapped up from the wind and rain in the Crafnant Valley, New Years Day.
