Roll on Monday.

Not all Mondays are bad in fact this one just passed was pretty good. It had not been that busy for our office and everyone was back in from activities in good time as all the guests arrived early. The filming of the new version of Clash of the Titans had moved out of the quarries above Llanberis so it was time to go on one of my favourite local routes, the downhill from the top of the quarries to Nant Peris.

Lazy Night.

Not exactly my exploits but the below pictures are taken by me, they show Mark kayaking the Cwm Llan waterfalls. I was being lazy this night and did not fancy carrying my boat for half an hour up the Watkin Path.

After a day of mist, murk and rain in Llanberis biking and climbing seemed unlikely, there was no surf forecast so Mark and I made the after work trip over the pass to Capel Curig. When we got to Capel water level was low, only just runable but we made the most of it with some fun on Cobdens.

This is how we roll.

Mark and I managed to get out on one of our local loops last night for a quick blast after work. From Llanberis we took the Clegyr road past Bryn Bras Castle, turned towards Waunfawr turning left again at Groeslon to head through the quarries below the summit of Cefn-du back to the village.

Fricsan DJ Night

Thanks very much to all of you who came along on supported the DJ night in the Fricsan on Friday 7th August. The night saw me (D.J.C) playing alongside Tom Booth and Simon S. The night had a really good sound, I am glad we got the subs repaired in time and Tomos provided great visuals for the night. The next night I have planned is a Drum and Bass night in Rascals, Bangor on Friday 28th August. Tom Booth, VENOM and I are all playing plus more to follow. I hope to see you there.

High Quality

A moment from the office. Had this article about the Snowdon Summit cafe from the Telegraph restaurant critic, Jasper Gerard pointed out to me earlier today. It is such a shame that Snowdon is such a great draw for tourism and this is the best they can manage. Sounds like the only thing high about the quality is 1085m.

Anyone for tea?

Tea, Flapjack and Ale are three of my favourite things to keep life powered. Tea to keep me going in the office, flapjack while out on adventures and ale to fuel the evenings. Hopefully with these as my fuel I will continue to get up to interesting things to let you my friends and family read about here. Cheers.
